Shields Insurance is an insurance agency based out of Birmingham, AL that concentrates on business, home, and auto insurance.
The CHALLENGE: Create a sales funnel targeted toward commercial insurance requests.
The SOLUTION: The original task was to drive traffic to their website for conversion. After some initial testing, it became apparent the website at the time would not convert. After discussing this challenge with the client, we teamed up with their web developer to redesign the website for conversion. The overall flow of the website was adjusted to a more focused message. After the redesign was complete, we moved to our SEO strategy. SEO was a two-part plan for Shields. We began with optimizing the website for the purpose of driving traffic for commercial insurance. This on-page optimization included content changes, proper tagging, and overall flow that converted the lead to a form fill or phone call.
The second part of our SEO strategy was the off-page portion. This included verifying online directories for correct information, map stacking, and social media management to maintain proper engagement with their audience. Once these items were in motion, we began to see leads flowing in. Shields Insurance began to average 3-4 qualified leads per day and continues at that pace.
